 Excuse me if I'm obsessed of late with my design romance.

Forgive if I don't tell the story of how I ended up
in New Orleans a few days ago inside Anthropologie

looking at this display and thinking

if Istanbul and Mississippi fell in love
the love child would be New Orleans. 

 

Forget state lines. Forget separating oceans.
Forgive if I can't take you through
all the twists & turns of how I've
fallen head over heels for NOLA. 

And focus instead on this dreamy sofa.
This stack of firewood beside it!

 

I will eventually tell you why this orange
wall suddenly made me feel at home. And why
you will see it magically appear inside 
the barnloft next week. 

Make sense? I thought not.

So let's focus instead on how standing inside Anthropologie

lusting after things you can't afford is a million

times better than lusting after Anthropologie

while holding a catalog inside your current space!

And expect to see some Anthropologie-inspired things

wherever it is I will be living.

Including this polar bear - seriously.

Because now that I know such a thing

exists - I could never be happy living

without one

but then who could?!!!
