Self promotion update: A New York editor wants to see my book about Istanbul once it's finished! This news came within a few hours of someone in Istanbul sending this photo he did for me. You would think that I would sit on this story until I find out if the New York editor will actually want to publish the book but no. I slapped the story and photo up on facebook because the day before I was feeling so lucky that I slapped a story about arriving in Istanbul three years ago this week up on facebook - you have to understand how for two years I have not really done facebook. But I am so pumped up by the news and the positive facebook response that I've created a Phyllis Nobles Writer page which if you like I will love you forever. So here goes! Fingers crossed! Luck be lady etc etc etc!!!
